The Barossa Valley Junior Motorcycle Club consists of Junior and Senior, Competitive and recreational riders. Our track is situated along Gomersal road, Gomersal and has proven very popular with riders and spectators as we have successfully held SA State Title Rounds and Clubman Championship Rounds for many years as well as holding the annual open event "Boss of Barossa".

Due to insurance regulations no riding can be done at the track unless we have a permit for those days and have an official to supervise. Anyone over 18 can become an official by attending a free Generic Seminar held by Motorcycling South Australia. This year the club is obtaining several permits each month to hold practice days. We have canteen facilities and the canteen is open on calendered practice days as well as competitive days.

Club membership are paid annually and are due by January 31st. Memberships cost are $40 for the first year and $20 yearly after for either single or family membership.

We hold our general meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Lyndoch Hotel in the Lounge Bar at 7.30pm for usual business and to sort out any problems or answer any questions.

MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES GO OUT TO THE RIDERS AND PARENTS THAT TURNED UP AT THE TRACK ON SUNDAY 1ST APRIL FOR PRATICE DAY.  uNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET WORK DONE ON THE TRACK AND IT IS UNSAFE FOR THE RIDERS TO USE IT.  WE ARE DESPERATELY TRYING TO GET BOBCAT WORK DONE ON THE TRACK AND AS SOON AS IT IS READY I WILL BE NOTIFYING ALL MEMBERS IN WRITING.  UNFORTUNATELY I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS PAGE AND I AM TRUELY SORRY TO THOSE WHO'S TIME WAS WASTED.

JUST A REMINDER TO ALL MEMBERS THAT THE MONTHLY MEETING IS HELD ON THE 3RD WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT THE LYNDOCH HOTEL IN THE LOUNGE BAR AT 7.30PM.  MEMBER SUPPORT HAS BEEN LACKING AS ONLY 2 MEMBERS ALONG WITH MYSELF SHOWED UP FOR LAST MONTHS MEETING.  WE NEED 5 MEMBERS TO HOLD A MEETING.  SO WE REALLY NEED YOUR INPUT.  WE HAVE VARIOUS EVENTS LINED UP FOR THIS YEAR BUT WITHOUT SOME MEMBER SUPPORT IT WILL MAKE IT VERY HARD TO HOLD THESE EVENTS.  PLEASE, PLEASE COME ALONG AND HAVE YOUR SAY.  WE ALSO ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW VICE PRESIDENT AS TERRY HAS HAD TO RESIGN DUE TO OTHER COMMITMENTS.
